Nominating yourself for an award is easy! Just follow these simple steps: 

Step 1: Head over to the Prime Recognition box and click the Recognize button. 

Step 2: A new window will pop up—select Nomination and then hit Next. 

Step 3: Find your name or email in the dropdown menu and select it. You can also click the + icon next to your name in the “People you have recognized” section. Once you’ve made your selection, click Next. 

Step 4: Pick the award that best suits your reason for nominating yourself. Choose the appropriate monetary award value based on your country, and then click Next. 

Step 5: Select the award’s Approver in the next window. You can also choose to cc someone else on the platform so they’ll be notified if you win. Click Next to move forward. 

Step 6: Write a recognition message that makes your case for the award. Be specific about why you deserve it: 

• Your message should clearly state your achievements. 

• The business justification message is private and only visible to the Approver(s). 

Step 7: If your nomination is approved and you win, a post will be generated with the award name, badge, and recognition details. 

You can control who sees this post by choosing from the following privacy options: 

• Shared: Visible to everyone in the company. 

• Restricted: Visible on the Feed, but without the recognition message. 

• Private: Not shown on the Feed at all; only an email notification is sent. 

Once you set this, click on Preview to review your post.  

Step 9: If you’re happy with the Preview post, Click the Post button. Send your nomination to the Approver(s). 

Note: Your post won’t appear on the Feed until the Approver makes a decision.
